Description

The AF146B 3-pin contactors comply with the latest standards for rolling rail vehicles and allow installation in passenger or driver's cabs of trains that frequently operate in tunnels or underpasses. They switch power circuits with motors, slightly inductive or non-inductive loads. They meet all the important standards for rolling stock: IEC 60947-4-1, IEC 60947-5-1, IEC 60077-1/-2 and applicable parts of standards EN 50155, shock and vibration resistance in accordance with IEC 61373 Cat 1, Class B. They also achieve the highest levels of fire and smoke performance in compliance with European standard EN 45545-2 (HL2 risk levels) for group installation. All integrated or subsequently mounted auxiliary NC contacts are designed as mirror contacts in accordance with IEC60947-5-1 Annex L. Only 4 coils cover control voltages from 20...500 VDC to 24...500 VAC. Furthermore, they have a built-in surge protector and do not require any additional quenching elements.
