Description
Zen-inspired, ultra-slim design
The Asus ZenDrive U8M packs powerful functions in a stable, ultra-slim 13.9 mm housing. Finest with the elegant, Zen-inspired optics from concentric circles, the drive combines an outstanding design, a robust processing and a demanding style.
The perfect companion for the latest Asus ZenBooks or other latest notebooks
USB-C® is a feature that features virtually all new notebooks, including all new ASUS ZenBook models. After connecting the Asus ZenDrive U8M is immediately ready for use. This smart slot is not only small and compact, but it also supports a simple insertion for more comfort. Connected via USB-C®, the U8M supplies multimedia playback and backup functions to your Windows or Mac computer in seconds.
Store your valuable photos, videos and data for the next generations
The Asus ZenDrive U8M supports M-DISC, a storage solution in archive quality that has been developed to protect particularly valuable digital memories such as family photos and home videos. Compared to hard drives, flash memories, and other writable media that have a lifetime of about 8 years, M-DISC's writing technology engraves data into a patented, stone-like layer that can withstand extreme environmental conditions and allows you to store life-long memories and important data for more than 1,000 years.
Easy to use, comprehensive backup solution
The Asus ZenDrive U8M offers a comprehensive and user-friendly backup solution for Windows. It contains all the functions that you need in order to protect your valuable data and to be able to sit back and relax with complete peace of mind.
Burn by drag and drop
Create a disk in just three simple steps, all via an intuitive user interface.
Data carrier encryption
Uncomplicated protection of your data by a password-control and hidden folders.
Backup software included
Nero BackItUp enables the quick and easy archiving of photos, videos or data on your HDD or SSD.
