Description
The VM3200 modular matrix switch provides extended access and real-time control of multiple local and remote A/V input devices and displays from a single chassis. The VM3200 allows you to independantly switch and forward video and/or audio content to different monitors, displays, projectors and/or speakers by simply pressing the buttons on the front panel. An integrated scaler encodes the video format for a seamless change in real time. The LCD on the front panel provides a quick overview of the active connection connections. The switch also has an option to select an EDID mode, which offers the best resolution via different monitors.
The VM3200 is easily expandable and includes a range of hot-swappable Aten I/O boards. Equipped with automatic signal conversion, it enables any combination of digital video formats, e.g. HDBaseT (VM7514 / VM8514), HDMI (VM7804 / VM8804), DVI (VM7604 / VM8604), 3G-SDI (VM7404) and VGA (VM7104). This makes it ideal for large-scale A/V applications such as transmitting stations, traffic and transport-related control centers, emergency centers and any application that requires adaptable and fast A/V signal routing.
