Description
The BXPBABS20015075-E01 of the Elbe series from BOXEXPERT is a housing made of ABS-plastic with universal application areas. The casing impresses above all through its unique black color and the high-gloss surface. It is thus intended for design lovers and applications with the emphasis on high-quality optics. In the interior of the casing, printed circuit boards can be securely fastened via screw dome in the lower part. In addition, it offers large and flat machining surfaces and versatile mounting options for displays, membrane keypads, connectors, switches and buttons. The foamed-in seal makes the plastic housing IP 65-rated and therefore easily suitable for any outdoor use. The holes for the wall mounting are located outside the sealing area, so that the degree of protection is ensured even after installation.
THE INTERIOR AND exterior DESIGN CASE
If functionality is important, but optics are also a major factor, you don't have to go around the Elbe series plastic enclosures. The housing captivates by the high-quality optics of the smooth ABS-surface in slate gray (similar to RAL 7015). The Elbe enclosures from BOXEXPERT are therefore ideal for the installation of control elements, displays, membrane keypads, connectors, switches and buttons, in which the user has a clear view of the housing.
All Elbe series housings have a foamed-in seal made of wear-resistant polyurethane. Due to the material properties, the seal is resistant to weather and aging. Visually almost too bad for outdoor use, the housing nevertheless offers an protection class of IP65 and can be used without any problem in harsh environments.
SELF-SHAPING SCREWS
the lower the housing weight and the thinner the housing wall, the harder it is to secure screws in the housing without damaging the housing or negatively affecting the protection class. The Elbe housing has several mounting domes inside the housing for mounting electronic components such as circuit boards or connection terminals. As an addition, the supplied accessories include self-shaping screws, which enable the installation to be mounted safely. Suitable for the Elbe series, BOXEXPERT offers various accessories such as cable glands or pressure compensation elements (BKDMKM12) made of black polyamide.
