Description
With this adapter by Delock the audio signal can be decoupled from a HDMI transmission. While the image signal is displayed on a TV or monitor, the audio signal can be output via the second HDMI connection to a surround receiver. Thus, an existing AV receiver or a sound bar can still be used, even if no suitable ultra HD connection is available.
HDMI HD audio output
In contrast to conventional digital S/PDIF audio outputs, all modern surround formats can be transferred to the receiver via the HDMI audio output.
Audio return channel (ARC)
Alternatively, the earc function on the extractor can be activated. The audio signal of the connected TV set is output at the HDMI AUDIO connection of the device.
