User & Safety Instructions 3401885 DEWALT DCBP518-XJ DCBP518-XJ Tool battery 18 V 5 Ah Li-ion

18 Volt power stack batteries based on innovative pouch cell technology
Can be used in all 18 Volt XR battery machines
Has the same voltage level and comparable capacity as compared to conventional round cell batteries
Lower internal resistances of the cells enable a more efficient current flow and thus a considerably higher power development by up to 50% in certain applications
Significantly longer running time per battery charge
Higher number of charge cycles and thus longer service life through more efficient temperature control as well as better possibility of heat dissipation due to the flat large outer shape of the cells and the optimum surface/volume ratio
No memory effect and the lowest self-discharge ensure trouble-free long term use
Optimally suitable for the hard daily use through sturdy battery casing as well as impact-resistant soldered cells
Lowest contact resistance when connecting individual cells
Large-area contacts that are protected against accidental short-circuits
Controlled use by reliable capacity display over 3 LEDs
Suitable for all battery tools from the Dewalt 18 Volt XR battery program
Can be charged with all Dewalt XR system quick chargers
