Enermax Revolution DFX PC power supply unit 850 W ATX 80 PLUS Gold

REVOLUTION D.F. X rounds off the revolution series and is primarily aimed at gamers and content creators. Along with a native 12VHPWR cable for the obligatory Intel ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 standard, it offers another Dual 8Pin on 12VHPWR extra cable for the connection of another graphics card or for future OC graphics cards, which need two 12VHPWR connections. The connectors already have the Intel® recommended "4-spring design".

Like the REVOLUTION D.F. 2 is the REVOLUTION D.F. X also a compact, fully modular power dwarf with only 14 cm installation depth. The 80 PLUS® Gold certified power supply series is equipped with the patented DFR™ (Dust Free Rotation) technology. This prevents the accumulation of dust in the fan blades and guarantees a clean and durable power supply.

The decision to use only 100% Japanese 105°C electrolytic capacitors guarantees high production quality and a long-lasting product. Based on an advanced half bridge LLC resonance converter and DC to DC circuit, the power supply is able to deliver perfect voltage regulation and very stable output power. The extremely stable single +12V-rail, which has short-term up to 2-times maximum output power, permits high power peaks of the high-performance processors and graphics cards, without having to switch off the system directly. Adequate protection is nevertheless guaranteed by OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP and OTP.

The intelligent semi-fanless control keeps the power supply fan up to a 20% load in passive mode. The FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) silent fan is equipped with a 6-pin 3-phase motor and high-pressure fan blades to generate an extremely high air pressure and at the same time ensure an excellent smooth running. In addition, anti-vibration dampers on the fan frame provide a reduction of the fan vibration.

The ARGB Side Panel with 14 built-in RGB lighting modes can be operated "stand-alone", controlled via the supported Motherboard Sync or switched off via the ON/OFF button.

Intel®ATX3.0 & PCIe 5.0 ready
Full compatibility with the latest Intel®ATX3.0 power supply specifications & PCIe 5.0 ready with native 12VHPWR cable.

Future-proof: Additional PCIe cable with 12VHPWR connection (Dual PCIe 8Pin on 12VHPWR cable).

Supports Intel's ATX3.0 guidelines with load peaks up to 200% of the nominal load as well as the increased requirements of power consumption throughout the desktop range.

600W 12VHPWR cable connectors with Intel® recommended 4-spring design.

Outstanding performance
The DC-to-DC design generates the secondary voltages (+5V and +3.3V) from the primary voltage rail (+12V). The positive effect is a higher degree of efficiency, a clean output voltages (extremely low ripple noise) and an optimum voltage control for all loads.

The highly efficient LLC resonance converter provides for a higher output efficiency and voltage stability. The extremely stable single +12V-rail, which has short-term (100 microseconds) up to 2 times maximum output power, permits high power peaks of the high-performance processors and graphics cards, without having to switch off the system directly. This provides adequate protection through OCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, SCP and OTP.

Additional cable for future applications
Along with a native 12VHPWR cable, REVOLUTION D.F. offers X another Dual 8Pin on 12VHPWR auxiliary cable for the connection of an additional graphics card or for future OC graphics cards which need two 12VHPWR connections. The connectors already have the Intel® recommended "4-spring design".

Next Level cooling solutionDFR™ technology
The patented DFR™ (Dust Free Rotation) technology reduces dust accumulation on the fan blades by turning the fan backwards at high speed for a few seconds after the power supply is started. This prevents long-term dust accumulation. Then it returns to normal passive operation.

Enermax high-pressure fan blades
The high-pressure fan blades design provide for a higher air pressure at a simultaneously reduced speed. The result is to ensure an excellent smoothness. In addition, anti-vibration dampers on the fan frame provide a reduction of the fan vibration.

Intelligent semi-fanless control
The intelligent semi-fanless control keeps the power supply fan up to a 20% load in passive mode. Only afterwards the 12cm FDB silent fan provides a continuous low-noise active cooling.

6-pin 3-phase motor
The FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) silent fan is equipped with a 6-pole 3-phase motor. More pole inside means less air holes, hence rotor running smoothly and increased reliability.

Enermax unique air guard
The Enermax air guard reduces air turbulence through the larger room of the air outlet and thus reduces the connected noise development.

RGB ON/OFF CONTROLLER
The ARGB side panel can be operated "stand-alone", controlled via the supported motherboard sync or switched off via the ON/OFF button for the "RGB Muffel".

LIGHT IT UP with ARGB side panel
The ARGB Side Panel with 14 built-in RGB lighting modes offers gamers and content creators the opportunity to say goodbye to the “boring black moneyed” and to highlight their PC build in style.

High efficiency & Japanese 105°C condensers
More than 92 percent efficiency in the 230-volt network at a load of 20 to 100 percent. REVOLUTION D.F. X possesses the international energy-saving certificate 80 PLUS® Gold.

The decision to use only 100% Japanese 105°C electrolytic capacitors guarantees high production quality and a long-lasting product. REVOLUTION D.F. X uses a highly efficient 5-volt standby rail to help comply with the EU Ecodesign Directive 2013 ERP Lot 6 and 2014 ERP Lot 3 for computer systems (0.5W in standby mode*). It also supports the EU Regulation on Computer Systems No. 617/2013, including the requirement of 85% efficiency at 50% load, as well as 82% at 20% and 100% load.
