Axial spherical roller bearings are single row bearings that allow angular fitting. They consist of robust wave spring washers, covers, asymetrical rollers and cages. The cage keeps rolls and wave spring washer in place. The bearings can be taken apart. Means the bearing parts can be fitted bit by bit. Axial spherical roller bearings are able to withstand high axial loads and support high rotary speed. The races are not aligned with the main bearing axis. Being positioned at an angle means that axial spherical roller bearings are also able to withstand radial load.
