Description
Kabu-BV is a blind plug made of a solid rubber (EPDM) with a soft duroplast elastomer (PUR) covering in yellow and press flanges made of stainless steel. This gas and pressure-tight blind plug is used for Kabuflex® pipes in building entries. The advantage is the soft surface, which creates a secure seal against gas and water pressure.Due to the very good adhesion properties the Kalu-BV blind plug sits securely (against pushing water and gas) in the pipe. Installation can be performed successfully on the flange edges without special tools (torque wrench) using the visual contact indicator (yellow bead). For a secure seal, make sure that the inner seal is in the area of the base or screed or the Kabu seal sealing.
