User & Safety Instructions 3821263 GIRA 121000 Interface
Description
2-way TKS switch interface Features: - The 2-way TKS switch interface is used to convert a floating switch signal to the GIRA door communication bus. - The TKS pushbutton interface has two independent inputs for connection for floating switches. - The inputs can either be used for triggering a switching operation (e.g. switching lights) via switching actuator or flush-mounted switching actuator or can be assigned to a housing station. - The TKS pushbutton interface is intended for installation in a device box behind a conventional button. Notes: - The button connection is made via a 3-wire approx. 20 cm long connecting cable. This connection cable can be extended to max. 5 m. - When the button interface is assigned to a housing station, the two inputs behave differently: Input 1 triggers a floor call. This input is required if only a 2-wire line is available for the connection of an apartment station incl. floor telephone switch (e.g. when retrofitting an existing door intercom). Input 2 triggers a door call. This input is required if the door opener of the housing station is to be triggered via a mechanical button.
