Description

The AFG-3031 function generator with direct digital signal generation (DDS) offers a bandwidth of 30 MHz. The standard signals include sine, square, ramp, pulse, noise, DC, Sin(x)/x, exponential increase, exponential decrease, negative ramp and 200 MSA/s arbitrary waveform. In addition, the functions ON/FM/PWM/FSK modulation, sweep and burst are available. The 10.9 cm LCD graphic color monitor displays all parameters and settings as well as the waveform. A USB interface can be used for remote control with a computer. The arbitrary waveform can be generated via the freely downloadable PC® software and transferred to the generator via USB. In conjunction with the storage oscilloscopes of the GDS-3000 series, it is possible to regenerate a measured signal digitally (DWR).
