Description
Thick-walled, waterproof electronic instrument case made of die-cast aluminum. The robust die-cast aluminum alloy is hard yet easy to work on. Two-part nut and spring construction to protect against the ingress of dust and water. The stable, point-welded floor flange enables an easy mounting. The structured black version is coated with sturdy polyester powder, which offers a permanent finish even after processing. The finish is applied on the outside and inside of the housing. The seal is made of pre-formed, one-part silicone rubber and can be easily inserted in the groove on the lid. The seal is suitable for a temperature range from -40 °C to +150 °C (-40 °F to 302 °F). No internal ribs for easy installation of connectors without interference or additional milling.
