Description
Hobbywing brushless drive set Xerun XR8 SCT 3660-4300 KV
Brushless-sensor motor and controller for 01:08 Buggy, on-road models and 01:10 Short Course and Monster Trucks
Advanced Hall Sensing System enables permanent sensor mode
High reliability and durability
Rotary cylinders in turbine design keep the engine temperature low
Roll-out function for an even more real driving feeling
Programmable controller with integrated BEC and cooling system
Use the Xerun Combo with brushless-sensor motor and regulator, in order to give your vehicles the optimum drive. The engine is not only particularly powerful, but also exceptionally efficient. So you benefit from a better performance and get more driving fun from every battery charge.
High-quality workmanship
The double insulated windings, NMB ball bearings, thin silicon steel plates and adhesive snd very heat-resistant and enable high performance as well as long durability.
Brushless external rotor
With a brushless external rotor motor, the permanent magnets are located on the rotating motor bell, which serves as a rotor and rotates around the windings inside.
Brushless-inner rotor
With a brushless internal rotor motor, the windings are located on the inside of the motor housing and the permanent magnets, which turn in the alternating field of the windings, are attached to the rotor. This type of motor is particularly suitable for high speeds.
BI-directional timing for optimized engine performance
The timing of electric motors has a similar function to the advance ignition of combustion engines. With this Xerun motor, the timing can be set from 20° to 40°.
Advanced Hall Sensing System
The «error-free sensing system“ guarantees continuous operation in sensor mode. This enables a high-precision sensor, which uses a magnetic ring to output the clear signals, i.e. to indicate the position of the rotor and thus protects the system from other signal disturbances.
Low locking torque
The Hobbywing 4-pole magnet has offset poles with a low latching torque and torque pulsation, was a huge improvement in the driving feel in bends.
Compact and light design
The XR8 controller is 30.1% smaller and 36.5 g lighter than the XR8 Plus, which was used to install the ESC in vehicles with a compact chassis such as buggy and touring car.
Program, upgrade, and wireless data connection
With the help of the WiFi-Express module and the Hobbywing Link-App for Apple and Android smartphones you can easily set parameters, make firmware updates and check relevant ESC data.
Coastal
The controller has a roll-out function, which simulates the inertial and impulse feeling of a real vehicle. This improves driving behavior when using high-performance engines, as the electromagnetic braking effect may otherwise suddenly affect the ability to drive and maneuver.
Thermal capacitor protection and built-in BEC
This protection prevents capacitors from exploding and irreparable damage from overload. The BEC integrated in the controller delivers an output voltage of up to 15 A and has an adjustable output voltage of 6 V to 7.4 V. It allows you to use powerful high torque and high voltage servos.
Highly efficient heat dissipation
The controller has a cooling system with heat-dissipating copper paths for a fast and efficient internal heat dissipation from the MOSFET to the CNC milled aluminum heat sink housing. The shock absorbing fan is well secured, which reduces the risk of damage after jumps.
