Homematic IP wireless access Point 2
Simply start in the Smart home

With the Homematic IP access Point 2, you can enter the Smart home very comfortably. Through the intuitive Homematic IP APP all the devices of the system can be set up, controlled and extended centrally. The communication is done securely via the Homematic IP cloud.

Installation
The Access Point is simply connected to the router via a network cable and supplied with power via the accompanying plug-in power supply. It can either be placed horizontally on a level surface or attached to the wall to save space - the suitable mounting material is already included in the delivery. The commissioning takes place conveniently in a few steps via the Homematic IP APP: Just connect the device, scan the QR code, and the setup starts automatically.

Setting
Set up your Smart home in no time at all with the free Homematic IP APP. All other Homematic IP products are intuitively trained and can be configured individually. Up to 15 users can access a single system. Even several installations, such as in the holiday home, can be controlled comfortably via the APP. The Homematic IP wired access Point also enables integration of Homematic IP wired components for even greater flexibility.

Control
Once setup, you always have full control over the Homematic IP APP. Moreover, the Smart home system can be easily operated via voice command via Amazon Alexa or Google assistant. The intuitive user interface of the APP makes possible a simple control, individual adjustments and the fast access to all functions - wherever you are.

Smart highlight
With reliable encryption, German server location and use without registration, the ACCESS Point fulfills the highest data protection and security standards. The intelligent radio protocol works in the especially interference-free frequency range and guarantees a fast and stable communication between devices, APP and cloud.

Tip
For large living areas or several floors the range of the system can be easily extended by the integration of another access point. In this way, your Smart home grows completely flexible with your needs.

Thermostatic Radiator Valve - Basic
The Homematic IP thermostatic radiator valve - BASIC is a part of the Homematic IP Smart home system and helps save energy. The smart regulator replaces conventional thermostatic radiator valves, saving energy by up to 30%.

The thermostat can be mounted on the radiator without tools or changing the heating system. The power is supplied by two AA batteries which can supply energy for approx. 2 years. The radiator thermostat is ready for use thanks to the preset heating profile - this can be adjusted manually at any time. Individual temperature processes with up to 13 changes are possible per day. Thus Homematic IP only heats certain rooms if there is a real need.

The setup can be done flexibly on the device itself, via Homematic IP APP (in connection with the Homematic IP access Point) or via a browser-based interface (in connection with a central CCU3). Alternatively, the smart thermostat can also be operated without the central unit.

The APP allows the TRV to be integrated into an extensive Smart home system. The cloud solution allows you to set the temperature any time and from anywhere. If you prefer to know the data locally in the home network but still want to benefit from the advantages of a Smart home system, you can use the setup via the CCU3 control unit (no longer compatible with the CCU2 control unit).
