Impulse switches are electromagnetically operated devices that are simple, energy-saving and safe lighting control. As a rule, impulse switches are activated whenever the light needs to be controlled from at least three different locations. Through each control pulse, which is sent to the coil magnet system, the device switches back to the previous position and holds it mechanically up to the next control impulse. In the event of a power failure, it is guaranteed that the last switch position is held mechanically. This technology helps to reduce the electrical power loss and the power consumption of the devices significantly. The surge current switch is very quiet and suitable for use in public buildings, hotels, and in private living areas as well. The devices can be controlled with standard control voltages depending on the type and are designed for a rated current of 16 A or 32 A.
