According to DIN/ISO 5405-1 needle cages after 3030

Needle cages are one- or two-row units comprising cages and needle rollers. The single row design, based on DIN 5 405-1.
Since their radial section height only corresponds to the diameter of the needle rollers, needle cages bearings with a minimum of radial design space. They have a high load-carrying capacity, are suitable for high speeds, and are particularly easy to install.
In case of more accurate execution of the raceways are bearings with high concentricity. The radial bearing air through the needle roller type as well as the shaft and housing tolerance can be influenced.
Needle cages assume that the career on the shaft and in the case hardened and grinded.
Double row needle cages are available only in certain shell circle diameters FW. They are marked with the suffix ZW.
