User & Safety Instructions 2253970 Micro-Swiss All Metal Hotend Kit for Flashforge / Dremel Suitable for (3D printer): FlashForge Finder
Description
The Metal Hotend Upgrade Kit for the Flashforge Finder and Flashforge Guider 2. This metal hotend allows you to print at significantly higher temperatures than the original PTFE lined. Another advantage of the full metal hot end design is the more consistent control of the melting chamber. During slow extrusion speed, in a PTFE lined hot end, the transition zone from solid to molten plastic tends to creep up, producing thread-pulling prints. For all metal constructions, a transition zone is always constant and is located directly at the heat shield. Due to the fast extrusion speed, the PTFE tube does not have enough thermal conductivity to melt the entire escaping plastic properly. The full metal hot end solves this problem, the filament is surrounded by a heat-conducting nozzle along its entire length.
