Description

The acoustic camera is a powerful measuring system for fast and reliable localization of sound sources as well as for detecting air, gas and vacuum leakages. Thanks to the latest MEMS microphone technology, high-resolution imaging and intelligent analysis software, the acoustic camera enables a precise acoustic visualization even in demanding industrial environments.

Equipped with a 64-channel MEMS digital microphone, the acoustic camera records sound signals in the frequency range from 2 kHz to 100 kHz. This means that audible as well as high-frequency noises can be located exactly. The range of detection from 0.3 to 50 meters allows flexible applications - from close range analysis to investigation of larger systems.

For a detailed visual documentation the acoustic camera has an integrated 12-megapixel camera with a field of vision of 72° and a fixed focal length of 3.9 mm. With a frame rate of at least 25 FPS, acoustic and optical information is combined fluently, so that sound sources can be displayed in real time.

In addition to the precise sound source localization, the device offers an integrated gas outlet and leakage loss estimation. Various imaging modes – including single-target, multi-target, and acoustic holography – allow optimum adaptation to different measurement tasks. Analysis reports can be created and stored directly on the device, which greatly simplifies documentation.

The integrated 8-GB memory can be extended via a TF-card slot to up to 512 GB. In addition, the system supports WLAN as per IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac in the 2.4- and 5-GHz band for a comfortable data transfer. The acoustic camera can be mounted securely on a tripod via the 1/4-inch tripod thread and is thus also suitable for longer measurement series.
