Description

The spectrophotometer is the ideal instrument for recording and analyzing spectra. Unlike other spectrophotometers, this device covers a variety of parameters. In addition to the normal use of the spectrophotometer with rechargeable battery, it is also possible to connect this spectrophotometer to an external power supply so that it can be easily operated with mains power. In addition, the spectrophotometer has the advantage of being able to connect it to a computer. The accompanying software thus enables a comprehensive spectral analysis directly at the workstation. In practical terms, the spectrophotometer can even be operated using the software. The result is that the measurement process can be carried out directly on the computer and the results are displayed on the screen in tabular form. There is therefore no need to take measurements with the spectrophotometer and evaluate them at a later time.

Nevertheless, this possibility exists, for example, to take measurements where no computer is available. The spectrophotometer is often used for quality control, which has to take place directly at the production site for various reasons. At a later date, the spectrophotometer can still be read from the computer to analyze and save the measurements.
