Excellently suitable for medium-heavy brush work such as deburring, cleaning and removing rust. Stranded wire consists of several corrugated filament lines stranded on one another. This special wire arrangement combines the aggressive brush effect of a tapped with the flexibility of a wavy brush, whereby a particularly good surface finish is achieved with an increased service life. Brushes with stranded wire are particularly robust and resistant and are therefore ideal for demanding tasks. In order to meet the special requirements for machining stainless steel (INOX), PFERD TOOLS uses wire quality 1.4310/1.4301 (V2A) on all INOX brushes. Practical experience from the industrial environment confirms that it has a very good corrosion resistance with optimal service life. All PFERD TOOLS brushes with INOX finish are marked in blue and are suitable for use on all stainless steel (INOX) such as V4A. The wire quality 1.4310/1.4301 tends to ferromagnetic behavior in cold solidification, i.e. it is attracted by magnets.;This is due to a structural change caused by deformation, e.g. during wire pulling. This does not affect the quality and corrosion resistance of the INOX trim. It retains its corrosion resistant properties. Stainless steel wire (INOX) can withstand temperatures of up to 450 °C.
Benefits: - Very good corrosion resistance. - Suitable for use on angle grinders up to 80 m/s. - Optimal adaptation to the contour of the workpieces thanks to high flexibility. - Optimum access to hard-to-reach areas such as internal edges, grooves and grooves. - Aggressive and effective working due to the special wire arrangement. - Higher lifetime compared to conventional untapped brushes.
Application recommendations: - Please note the recommended speeds. - For optimum results, use angle grinders with adjustable speed.
Editable materials: - Aluminium - Bronze - Cobalt base alloys - Non-ferrous metal hard - High-temperature resistant materials - Nickel base alloys (e.g. Inconell and Hasteloy) - Nickel or titanium super alloys - Other non-ferrous metals - Soft titanium alloys (tensile strength 500 N/mm²) - Stainless steel (INOX) - Titanium - Titanium alloys
