Phanteks EX5 Midi tower PC casing Black

The Phanteks EX5 lets you build your gaming PC differently than in a classic housing. The motherboard, graphics card and power supply are housed in separate chambers. This means that every important component receives specific fresh air. At the same time your build remains clear and requires only a few chassis fans.

· Separate hardware chambers: Motherboard, graphics card and power supply are located in their own areas
· Direct cooling: The case requires only four 120 mm fans for the intended cooling concept
· Space for large graphics cards: Supports 3.5-slot GPUs with a length of up to 358 mm
· For AiO-water cooling: Lateral fit for a 360-mm radiator
· Flexible choice of motherboard: Suitable for Mini-ITX, Micro ATX and ATX mainboards

Phanteks EX5: PC housing with separate hardware chambers
The Phanteks EX5 does not share the same interior space. The motherboard, graphics card and power supply unit have its own chambers. The main area contains the motherboard, CPU, memory and M.2-SSDs. The graphics card is located in a separate unit. At the bottom, Phanteks holds the power supply, as well as a 2.5-inch and a 3.5-inch drive.

Targeted cooling with only four casing fans
The cooling concept relies on direct air flow instead of many PC fans. A 120 mm fan behind the motherboard carries air to the back of the board. From there it flows past the CPU, power supply and RAM. For the CPU cooling there is space beside the mainboard for a 360-mm AiO-radiator with three 120-mm fans available.

The graphics card and the power supply also draw fresh air directly through their chambers. Air-permeable mesh areas thereby support the existing cooling units of the components. Thus, the warm exhaust air of different components is mixed less strongly.

Space for large graphic cards
The separate GPU compartment accommodates graphics cards with up to 3.5 slots and 358 mm length. Two brackets attach the graphics card and prevent it from sinking. Aluminium and Tempered Glass surrounds the GPU chamber and protects the built-in hardware.

Clean gaming PC with ARGB lighting
· Cables and AiO-hoses can be laid hidden
· Additional space for the cable behind the mainboard
· Power supply chamber holds excess cable
· Two ARGB light strips integrated in the casing

The splitting helps you to keep visible cables and hoses out of your field of view. The hoses of an AiO can be routed over the upper area to the radiator and hidden behind the intended apertures. Two integrated ARGB-strips provide colored accents. RGB lighting on your graphics card remains visible through the Tempered Glass.

Space for ATX power supply and drives
In the lower chamber there is an ATX power supply unit with a length of up to 210 mm. It also houses a 2.5" SSD and a 3.5" hard disk. The EX5 optically separates power supply and drives from the main area and creates additional space for excess cables.
