Description
Generator junction box, MPP voltage: 1000 VDC, string number: 2, number of supported MPP trackers: 3, equipment: DC switch disconnectors, overvoltage protection: T1, type of cable entry: SUNCLIX, package: SUNCLIX-DC connector for connecting the GAKs.
The Solarline generator connection boxes (GAKs) are used in small roof-mounted systems as well as in large open-field systems. The main tasks of the GAKs are the overvoltage protection of the PV system, if necessary the collection of strings and the looping through of the protective equipotential bonding conductor to the local equipotential bonding.
Further functions are optional and dependent on the equipment.
Examples of optional functions are the protection of the strings by means of string fuses as well as the activation of the strings via DC switch disconnectors or DC fire switch.
The full functional scope of the GAKs can be derived from its article name (see user note for the type key of the GAKs, which can be downloaded from the "Downloads" area).
