Description

Variant of the BR S499 as BR 340 of the ČD in epoch VI. The grace of the shapely machines of the type Škoda 47E “Laminátka” was transferred excellently to the scale 1:87 and an absolutely coherent overall picture was created. The many attractive details, such as the skylights in the engine room, have been elegantly implemented and the highly articulated line management of the locomotive box visualized by sharp engravings. Technical elements, such as the bogies, were precisely reproduced, which complete the successful shaping of the model. The colorful Livree of the prototype, together with dynamically acting decorative elements, stands the locomotive also in 1:87 excellent thanks to extensive painting and printing. The locomotive is driven by a five-pole motor, whose smooth running is perfected by two flywheel masses. A red and white lighting that changes with the direction of travel is naturally available and designed in contemporary LED technology. For easy retrofitting of a digital decoder, the locomotive has a PluX22 interface. Thanks to a generously dimensioned loudspeaker recording, a vehicle sound can also be easily installed.
