Description
Filaflex 82A TPU represents the perfect fusion of elasticity and precision. This professional filament combines outstanding flexibility with extraordinary print quality and makes it the first choice for enthusiasts as well as for professionals looking for reliable flexible prints.
Filaflex 82A 'Original' is the flagship flexfilament of the brand Filaflex and the most widely used TPU in 3D printing. With a shore hardness of 82A and an impressive stretch at break of 650%, this thermoplastic polyurethane filament provides exceptional elasticity and returns consistently to its original shape after stretching without deforming. As an industry standard for flexible printing, it combines reliability with outstanding performance.
Designed for optimal printing performance, Filaflex 82A is recommended for use with 3D direct extrusion printers and requires specific configuration guidelines that differ from rigid filaments. The filament is characterized by excellent adhesion to the hot bed without the need for a heated bed or additional adhesives, while odorless and resistant to various solvents and fuels. Its non-toxic nature makes it safe for skin contact and opens up numerous practical applications.
Blue Food Grade color note: This color contains a food grade pigment that can be detected by optical sensors. The TPU base material is identical to the other Filaflex 82A colors – only the pigment is different and allows better traceability in industrial applications.
Key functions
- Optimal flexibility:82A Shore hardness with a stretching capacity of 650%.
- Superior Recovery:Returns to the original form after stretching.
- Easy Printing:Excellent bed adhesion without additives
- Material Safety:Non-toxic and skin-friendly formulation
- Chemical resistance:Resistant to solvents and fuels
Professional applications
- Medical & Orthopedic:Measurement inserts and prosthetic components
- Surgical Training:Anatomical Models for Operation Simulation
- Industrial components:Buffer, seals, tires and grippers
- Fashion & accessories:textile printing, bags and portable items
- Shoe production:Soles, custom-made shoes and sandals
