Renkforce RF-5189148 Fibreglass FO Cable 1.00 m Orange [1x LC plug - 1x LC plug] 50/125 µ Multimode OM2

Light waves as state-of-the-art industry standard data transfer with many advantages
Unlike copper cables, FO cables are much less suceptible to adverse conditions. FO doesn't interfere with electronic devices. The low attenuation of FO cables allows for long-distance transmissions.

The highest transmission range and speed
With glass fiber cables is not only much more gigabit speeds of copper cables, but also transmission distances of 100 km, and more.

Highest level data protection
A signal is transferred via a light shaft cannot be via remote access can be received, but only physically through the glass fiber cable itself. This property makes it the most attractive transmission medium for authorities, banks and other institutions with sensitive data.

Highest security against electromagnetic influences
Glass fiber cable does not contain any metal and are thus ideally suited for installation in areas with electromagnetic interference (EMI). These include near power lines, areas with a high risk of lightning strikes or in the vicinity of railway tracks.

LC plug
The lampert Connectior (LC) is the most widely used type in the fiber-optic cable. It is used mainly because of its compact design, since it is about the technology used in the copper RJ15-components is similar. The LC connector has a ferrule diameter of 1.25 mm and impresses through an insertion loss of only 0.1 dB and a reverse flow attenuation of 55 dB.

Reliable Data Transmission Multimode OM2
So that fiber-optic cable for Gigabit Ethernet, 10-Gigabit Ethernet and 100 Gigabit Ethernet can be used, the quality of fiber optic cables classified, similar to the class specifications of copper cables.
The used at OM2 core size is 50 micrometer (μm). It supports up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet with lengths of up to 82 meters, but more often for 1 Gigabit Ethernet applications. As OM1 patch cable uses this type also a LED light source.

Duplex cable
Duplex refers to the use of two channels. Duplex cable are mainly used in access networks and use the two wires for sending and receiving.
