Schneider Electric Charging station Type 2 180 kW NFC, RFID

Schneider StarCharge Fast 180 is a quick charge station for all electric vehicles that comply with IEC61851-1 ed.3 and IEC61851-23 standards. The charging station is below ground. The IP protection class is IP55. The IK degree of protection is IK10 and IK08 for the touch screen. The operating temperature is between -30°C and 50°C, whereby a derating occurs from 50°C. The connection consists of two 5 m long cables with 2 CCS2 vehicle connectors at each end, which are connected to a cable management solution. The cable range is 3.8 m. The nominal output power is 180 kW. The charging station is fed three-phase (L1+L2+L3+N+PE). The nominal charging current is 285A, scalable up to 316A at 380VAC up to 415VAC +/- 10% with a frequency of 50 or 60Hz. It can be used with a TN-S / TN-C-S or TT earthing system. It is also IT compatible with an additional isolating transformer at the power supply. The charging station is a heavy product whose installation requires lifting equipment. It can be put into operation via a laptop connected to the built-in web server. It is recommended for use in vehicle depots, in public areas and in traffic. With the VDV 261 protocol for EBus applications and the BCB toggle wake-up function, which enables the eTruck to restart charging, the charging station is ideal for use in heavy depots. It has a power module with 97% efficiency and calibration-certified DC counter. Load authorization can be authenticated using an RFID or NFC ID card or a credit card at the Payter payment terminal. A customer can also authenticate the electric vehicle using plug-and-charge methods, either with autocharge technology or with the communication protocol ISO 15118. The charging station has a touch screen that allows the end user to select the connector and authentication tools and control the charging process. The screen also provides information about the vehicle's charging status. A multi-colored LED shows the status of the charging process and the charging station. A stop button makes it possible to end a charging quickly when needed. The charging station can be controlled from the back end of the charging station management system. The charging station has a RJ45 Ethernet connection for LAN connections. It also has a Wi-Fi and 4G modem connection. The charging station can be managed as a single device or in a cluster architecture with back-end application for power management and/or user authentication and billing. The parameters are set via a web server integrated in the charging station. The OCCP 1.6 communication protocol is used to connect to the backend. Available services include authentication and charge authorization, fee details, diagnostics, load management, and remote software update.
