Seasonic FOCUS-GX-850-V4 PC power supply unit 850 W ATX, EPS 80 PLUS Gold

FOCUS GX ATX 3.0
After the proven heritage of the Seasonic FOCUS series, the FOCUS GX series was updated to correspond to ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0 standards. With a complete range of power supplies from 750 W to 1000 W at a depth of 140 mm, these devices are the perfect allies for supplying power to the latest high-performance graphics cards and processors in the market.

Digital hybrid fan control
The industry's first advanced three-stage heat control system, patented by Seasonic, achieves an optimum between low-noise and cooling. This hybrid digital fan controller operates in three modes: Fan-less mode, silent mode, and cooling mode.

Fluid dynamic fan bearing
High-power fans with fluid dynamic bearings (FDB) are designed to use the shock-absorbing effect of oil. They are extremely reliable and generate much less operating noise and heat than fans with ball bearings. The lubrication of the bearing surface reduces friction and vibration and thus reduces the total power consumption. With its effortless, quieter rotation and the robust design, this reliable fan technology also significantly increases the life of the fan.

As the fan shaft rotates, high-pressure oil flows along the bearing sleeve grooves, creating a thin layer of lubrication between the bearing surfaces.

As the engine speed increases, the dynamic oil pressure increases and the shaft is lifted out of the bearing to produce a smooth, effortless rotation. The herringbone shape of the grooves helps to manage the lubricant efficiently and to avoid leaks.
