Description
The SelfChill Air/Liquid cooling units are hermetically sealed cooling units that operate as a steam compression heat pump.
They are filled with refrigerant and can be connected to a PV system with or without batteries for various cooling applications.
The units consist of compressor (SECOP BD35K), condenser, evaporator plate and control unit (SECOP 101N042).
The indoor versions use a forced air capacitor (322021, 322110), while the outdoor version (322123) has a static capacitor suitable for use in harsh environments where the use of an external fan is not desired. The indoor version is available with two different coatings on the evaporator plate. Article 322021 shall have a white anti-corrosive coating for applications in contact with air or solid parts, during which Article 322110 shall have a special rubber coating designed for applications where water or liquids are to be cooled.
Benefits:
Combine your own solar-powered cooling system with climate-friendly refrigerants
Direct connection to PV modules under 45 V DC open circuit voltage or 12/24 V DC batteries
Automatic speed control depending on the current cooling requirement.
