SIRIUS soft starters 200-480 V 32 A, AC/DC 24 V screw terminals SIRIUS 3RW55 high performance soft starters for demanding applications for soft run-up and slow-down of DC synchronous motors.
Continuously start, reduce current peaks, prevent mains voltage fluctuations during start-up, relieve the power supply, reduce the mechanical load in the drive, save space and wiring compared to star-delta starters and frequency converters, maintenance-free switching and easy handling. The integrated bypass makes the very compact design possible, saves energy and ensures low heating in the control cabinet. Intelligent monitoring functions protect the soft starter from overheating and the motor against overload. You can also limit the current to a set maximum value during power-up. Thanks to 3-phase control, particularly suitable for high motor power and root 3 circuits. Innovative torque control ensures optimum engine start-up. Simple and quick start-up through car parameterization or application wizard. Predictive maintenance planning through condition monitoring. Removable HMI with color display for clear measurement and diagnostic displays. Worldwide approvals (e.g. IEC and UL/CSA).
The 3RW55 high-performance soft starters are available for networks up to 690 V in a power range of up to 560 kW with 24 V or 110-250 V control supply voltages and consistently with screw and spring connection. Analogue output and thermistor motor protection are an integral part of the High Performance soft starters.
Optional pluggable communication modules enable connection via PROFINET, PROFIBUS and Modbus TCP. The built-in HMI module can also be mounted in the control cabinet door.
