Description
The air sample smoke detector set is a passive monitoring system without its own fan. It uses the pressure differences in the ventilation system to continuously take air samples from the ventilation duct via the air flow pipe and to feed them into the air sample smoke detection set.
The air sample smoke detector set only works when the ventilation system is in operation and the air is circulating.
The air to be monitored must normally be clean, i.e. dust and aerosol-free.
If the smoke detector detects a certain smoke concentration, the corresponding hazard level is reported to the fire panel, which in turn triggers an alarm.
The specialized Sinteso and Cerberus? PRO detectors and sockets must be ordered separately.
