Description

Application
This insulation measuring device has a very wide range of applications. It can be used in housing construction as well as for testing industrial plants or traffic networks. Due to its characteristics, such as low battery consumption, charging during measurements, user-friendliness and high degree of protection, it is often used by electricians and maintenance teams, in the testing of motors, cables and street lighting as well as in the construction and maintenance of photovoltaic systems. It is also perfectly suited to the needs of installers, telecommunications and district heating operators where checks on alarm systems on insulated pipes are required.

Key features
A major advantage of this device is that after charging the batteries once, a very long use is possible. In addition, the user can use the device during measurements from an external power source,
For example, charging a power bank with 12 V/2 Ah.

Functions
The meter can be used to measure the insulation resistance with a test voltage of up to 2500 V. With testing of cables it automatically discharges their load after completion of the measurement. With that
MIC-2501 allows the user to measure the continuity of safety and potential equalizers with a current of more than 200 mA in both directions. The meter has an integrated voltmeter for AC and DC voltages up to 750 V. Thanks to its extensive memory, the device can record almost 12 000 readings and transfer them to a PC.
