Targus 4Vu™ Privacy Screen Privacy screen filter Laptop 40,6 cm (16") Image format: 16:10 ASF16W1GL Universal

The Targus® 16-inch laptop screen protector is designed for 16-inch laptops with 16:10-ratio monitors. To protect your data, tiny vertical panels on the surface of the visual protector narrow the viewing angle so that the data is visible only directly in front of the screen at a distance of up to 30 degrees from the center of the screen. Viewers only see a dark, unclear screen when they try to view the information from a side angle. Not only does the screen provide security, but it also blocks the glare to reduce eye strain. The Targus laptop privacy screen can be easily attached to the LCD filter using transparent tape strips or the included latch guides that are attached to the edge of the LCD frame to hold the screen in position. The user can also position the tabs so that the screen can be easily pushed up and down. The extremely portable and user-friendly Targus privacy screen prevents the onlookers from seeing valuable information that is often displayed on a laptop or LCD monitor.

Suitable for the workplace or personal use
A study found that employees are 50% less productive when their visual privacy is compromised, and two out of three employees reveal sensitive data outside the workplace.

With more and more of us working in open-plan offices, on the road, or in unsecured environments, protecting privacy is an important aspect for employers and employees alike. Privacy walls provide an additional layer of protection that promotes productivity while protecting sensitive information.

30° viewing angle
Even in public places such as hotel lobbies, aircraft or cafes, the 4Vu™ Privacy Screen protects your data from prying eyes. Your content is only visible to the person directly in front of the screen and up to 30° on both sides. They have full clarity and visibility, while onlookers or passers-by only see a black screen.

Reduced aperture, even in bright areas
Our anti-reflection coating reduces glare and improves light permeability under most viewing conditions. The result is a brightness that is up to 12.4% higher than with other visual protection systems and provides a comfortable, clear view.

Four simple installation options
Attach the screen quickly and easily directly to your display by using one of the four convenient installation options.

Cover tabs under the bezel: Attach directly to the screen and slide it under the laptop bezel to ensure a clean appearance.

Slide tabs: Are attached to the side of the LCD frame of a laptop to keep the screen in position.

Long adhesive strips: Glued to the LCD screen for a secure grip.

Universal Flexi hinges: Mounted on the top of the screen and on the top of the laptop in order to enable a smooth on and off by simply folding down. Use the supplied adhesive strap to switch from private mode to public mode easily and without fingerprints. Two versions are available: 1 for enclosed screens and 1 for infinitely large screens.

Flaps and long adhesives can be used up to 50 times and cleaned with water or tape before re-use to remove dust; Flexi hinges can be turned over 1000 times.

Blue light filtering
Although blue light is ubiquitous, too much time on the screen can lead to increased exposure to artificial blue light that interrupts the natural stimulation of our brain through the daily cycle, WAS can lead to "digital eye strain" in the short term and fatigue through sleep deprivation in the long term. The 4Vu™ Privacy Screen filters blue light to reduce eye strain and minimize the potentially harmful effects on your vision.
