Description
Advanced charging station with four independent charging channels and extensive battery charging and maintenance programmes.

- 8 charge and maintenance programmes, e.g. battery refresh and lead-acid activator function
- Total 4 independent load channels can be operated at the same time: 2 channels with every 5 A max. charging current and 5 A max. discharge current of 2 channels with 1 A charge and 1 A discharge current (entirely, arbitrarily divisible)
- Maximum charging voltage 30 V (20 cells NiCd / NiMH and 8 cell LiIon, LiPo, LiFe, and 12 cells Pb) to channels 1 and 2 and 15 V (10 cells NiCd / NiMH and 4 cells LiIon, LiPo, LiFe or 6 cell Pb) on channels 3 and 4
- Accurate battery capacity measurement, e.g. for selecting battery packs
- Data retained during mains failure, automatic programme start
- USB interface for controlling the ALS 8500 Expert and to read out data logger, galvanically isolated
- Display of the cell voltage, charging current, discharging current, charged capacity, discharged capacity
- Future-proof Flash memory allows for firmware updates and upgrades.
