Wiking 029410 H0 Car Volkswagen T3 Box wagon high-roof "PTT"

Without the VW Transporter, there was hardly any package in the Alpine republic in the post-war decades – the delivery units in the mountains were bound to the different generations of vehicles and particularly in the winter were able to appreciate the rear motor on the rear axle as a guarantee for smooth traction. However, the VW T3 in PTT services, which Wiking now miniaturizes with high roof, should also be the last generation of the VW construction concept. The post-war automobile history of Swiss Post is closely linked to the Wiking model history. The postal models were always provided with the PTT logo in accordance with the Swiss federal models and raised to the public postal service.

Body post yellow, high roof and side printing white. Interior with steering wheel and rear bench light gray. Chassis with black grille. Silver rims. All-round decorative stripes in black/traffic red. Doors with PTT logo, rear ventilation grille and door handles printed in black. Red tail light.
