Description

The 3M heat-shrink tubing MDT A is a halogen-free, medium-walled heat-shrink tubing made of radiation-networked polyolefin with a hot-melt adhesive coating. The hot-melt glue penetrates all unevenness and cavities and prevents moisture from entering. The 3M heat-shrink tubing MDT A is suitable for insulation of plastic and earth cables up to 0.6/1kV for laying in the open air and in the ground. The heat-shrink tubing is resistant to aging and is UV-resistant and resistant to many chemical influences. It can be used in a temperature range from 55 °C to +130 °C. Due to its high shrink rate of 4.5 to one, you can record large diameter jumps with only one hose. The 3M heat-shrink tubing MDT A meets technical requirements according to IEC 60684 and is approved according to Lloyds Register of Shipping, certificate 95/30032(E5). It is halogen-free and RoHS compliant.
