Description
Combined lightning and overvoltage protection device SPD type 1+2, for protecting low-voltage consumer systems from lightning currents and overvoltage. Tested SPD type 1 and type 2 according to DIN EN 61643-11. The devices can be used for use as a surge protection device according to VDE 0100 part 443 and part 534, as well as within the framework of the lightning protection zone concept. The devices are compatible with the System PRO M compact series. Optionally, the SPD with "TS" are equipped with a potential-free change-over contact. The versions with "reserve varistor" (s) provide additional protection for the plant so that at the end of its life the surge arresters are not completely disconnected from the mains, but further guaranteed a basic protection by an additional small varistor and thus the system remains protected until the surge arrester is replaced.
