BUILDTAK BUILDTAK PRINTING FILM PEI 114 x 114 mm PEI PEI45X45

BUILDTAK Polyetherimide (PEI) -Print sheets are made of high quality Ultem 1000 PEI.
As a comparable alternative to the BUILDTAK Original 3D printing surface, BUILDTAK PEI has slightly different adhesion and separation properties, which vary depending on the material to be printed. In general, BUILDTAK PEI offers easier removal of finished prints, while BUILDTAK Original offers greater adhesion when printing.
In combination with the BUILDTAK Flexplate system, multiple FlexPlates can be easily exchanged between the BUILDTAK Original and BUILDTAK PEI print surfaces, depending on the material being printed. (For example, polycarbonate requires the extra strong adhesion of BUILDTAK to successfully finish the prints, while PEI should be used for PETG because of the possibility of easier removal.)
