Description
The RF WIFI-AC 1200M is an AC1200 USB adapter with selectable Dual Band Wi-fi enabling data transfer speeds of 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps at 5 GHz. Compatible with 11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO routers. Older laptops or PCs can be with the Edimax Adapter for a MU-MIMO device can be upgraded.
Fast data transfer with 802.11ac
The RF WIFI-AC 1200M enables fast 802.11ac Wi-fi - that's about three times faster than 802.11n. This turns PCs and laptops into fast 802.11ac Wi-Fi devices for high-performance streaming of videos and data.
Dual Band
Dual band use results in a better performance and greater flexibility of Wi-fi-enabled devices.
The 2.4 GHz band supports speeds of up to 300 Mbps. Operating at 5GHz gets you up to 867 Mbps.
Use the 2.4 GHz band for checking your emails and browsing the web, and the way less buzy 5GHz for content streaming and playing online games.
11ac Wave 2 support
The latest 11ac Wave 2 MU-MIMO (Multiple User - Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology comes with four streams and supplies multiple devices at the same time. This ensures maximum speed and and interruption-free WiFi.
MU-MIMO for interruption-free streaming
Turns a PC or laptop into a quick 11ac Wave2 MU-MIMO device. Each can be present at the same time be easily surf, Stream and play online, as soon as the EW -7822 ULC successfully paired with a MU-MIMO Router.
Benefits of using MU-MIMO
- 11 AC Wave 2 MU-MIMO supports up to 3x faster Wifi speeds
- Increases range and speed of mobile devices
- Enables reliable online streaming wihout buffering or interferences caused by other mobile devices
Beamforming technology
When being paired with a beamforming router, The RF-WIFI-AC 1200M beamforming technology aims the WiFi signal right at the adapter, resuling in a better, more reliable and more efficient connection. Generates the BEAMFORMING WLAN signals in a defined direction, while the default WLAN signals are transmitted to the outside. This boosts audio and HD video streaming quality.
Ultracompact size
Its ultracompact size makes the adapter the perfect choice for any laptop as it doesn't get in the way at all. In fact, he RF WIFI-AC 1200 M is so tiny that you almost forget it's there. So just keep it plugged in.
- Perfect for laptops
- Doesn't block any of the other USB ports
- Stays safely connected to the laptop
