EXSYS EX-6111-2PoE 1 Ethernet PoE to 1 x serial RS-232 including adapter

Serial Multiprotocol RS -232 Device Server The EX-6111-2PoE is a serial multiprotocol RS-232 device server that can be used to connect a serial RS-232 device, including POS systems, bar code readers, sensors, meters, Weighing systems, CNC controls and PLCs, developed on an IP-based Ethernet network. The serial device is connected via Ethernet and is available for sharing on the subnet and the Internet. Remote configuration is performed using comprehensive network protocols such as TCP server, TCP client, UDP, VCOM or serial Telnet/RFC2217. In order to ensure backward compatibility with legacy serial devices that run existing COM port application software, the EX-6111-2PoE offers a virtual COM port (VCOM) that perfectly migrates your serial application, without modifying the software. The EX-6111-2PoE supports Power over Ethernet and can be supplied with power directly via the Ethernet cable from a PoE-compliant power supply (PSE). In addition, serial devices can communicate with each other in peer-to-peer mode without the need to connect a PC or require conversion software.
