This unique special fixture allows for easy reduction of the overall length of the suspension leg by clamping together, thus facilitating significantly faster removal and installation of McPherson suspension legs, especially on vehicle axles with spring leg clamping bores. Time-consuming work such as the loosening of the cardan shaft, the axle arm, guide and steering link joints as well as an axle measurement are thus completely omitted. Advantages: • High time and cost savings, • No need to loosen the axle link, • No need to loosen the pivot shaft, • No need to loosen the steering link head or guide joint, • No shaft measurement required, • Can be used independent of the spring or spring pitch, • All parts are available as spare parts
