Gesipa 1455036 Blind rivet Stainless steel Aluminium Stainless steel, Aluminium 500 pc(s)

GESIPA blind rivets ensures permanently safe assembly of various materials, even sensitive ones.

Blind rivet technology from GESIPA is made up of many modern industrial productions where connection technology is required.
Are indispensable due to their economic efficiency and versatility. It combines advantages such as overcoming limited component accessibility,
Permanently safe assembly of various, even sensitive materials and, if desired, even documentation of the setting process.

Technically, the blind rivet consists of two components, the hollow rivet and the rivet punch.

While the component must always be accessible on both sides when screwing, clinching and punching rivets, etc.
Is the really special feature of the blind rivet, that only one-sided component access is necessary.
During the setting process, the rivet punch is pulled with the feed jaws of the setting unit and the hollow rivet is deformed up to the predefined,
That it is firmly seated in the component. Finally, the rivet mandrel breaks off at the intended location, the predetermined breaking point, and the residual mandrel can be recycled.
The residual rivet punch is the remaining part of the rivet pin in the hollow rivet and can take over an additional safety function depending upon the application.

The perfect connector for any application, as there are blind rivets in various versions, materials, shapes, lengths and also colors.
Depending on the task to be performed by a blind rivet, GESIPA can choose between a standard model available from stock or
A blind rivet specially designed for an application.

A rule of thumb for determining the rivet length is: Material thickness + rivet diameter = rivet length

GESIPA blind rivets - terms
- The blind rivet consists of two parts: The hollow rivet and the rivet punch.
- The hollow rivet consists of the setting head and the hollow rivet
- The setting head is located on the processing side and is variable in diameter and shape. It is available in the round head, flat head and large head variants.
The rivet shank is available in different lengths depending on the material to be riveted.
- The rivet punch has the task of deforming the rivet. It contains the predetermined breaking point. This is where the rivet pin tears off after the rivet has been deformed.
- The residual rivet punch is the portion of the rivet punch remaining in the hollow rivet. The residual mandrel is the proportion of the rivet punch,
Which is torn off by the rivet set.
