Description
All good things come in four
External hard disks are completely trendy. And the way, because you can, at any time, and transported to another device can be connected. The ICY BOX 3640 SU3 offers memory full, because up to four hard drives of any size can be operated at the same time. The sturdy casing made of aluminum is not only smart, but also dissipates the heat dissipation of the heat efficiency on the inside of the computer. This helps a temperature-controlled fan, which low-noise for the correct air exchange.
The installation of the hard disks in the IB-3640 SU3 is done quickly and easily completely without tools. Thanks to hot-swap, the used data carrier even at any time during operation quickly replaced. Also on the protection of the environment is thought: The ICY BOX has a sleep-mode, the power consumption is reduced to a minimum.
It supports all popular versions of Windows XP and Mac OS X. The connection is done either via either fast USB 3.0, with which transfer rates of up to 5 GBit per second are possible, or eSATA. The hard disks are then each as a separate drive (JBOD = "just a bunch of disks") are available.
No "double trouble" more!
If two hard disks are not sufficient: In this wonderful JBOD (Just a bunch of disks) Housing can now simultaneously four 3.5" hard disks work. The hard disks can be easily replaced, zero-mounted, and put into operation.
Intelligent fan control
The fan reacts to the temperature, the inside the housing. The precious hard disks of each time well protected against heat. However, you can use it, if desired, also manually on one of three available speed levels.
For the environment
In times of not using the device turns on automatically in standby. So, however, if there is no composite cable (USB 3.0 or eSATA) was connected! The LED display provides information about whether and in which slots hard disks are in operation and whether straight to you is accessed. Also, as the fan is set and the port over which the device was connected.
