Description

The Intex QS700 12 V crystal clear salt water system has been specially designed for floor-standing pools up to a maximum water capacity of 56,800 l.
Pure natural sodium chloride (NaCI) salt with a purity of at least 99.8 %, special salt for salt water systems or pure sea salt is added to the pool water in a measured quantity. Due to the low salt content of your pool water (sea water has an average of 3.5%) you will feel almost no salt, smell or taste. The only thing WAS you feel is clear, fresh and soft water. In the course of daily filtration (required flow rate: 2,650 – 12,112 l/h), the water is pumped through the electrolytic storage cells of the chlorine generator in order to produce pure chlorine (electrolysis), which then enters the pool in the water return and immediately dissolves. This begins immediately with the destruction of bacteria, viruses, algae and other organic materials. The integrated electrolysis process reduces the required amount of chlorine by up to 60%. Since salt does not evaporate, this process is repeated automatically whenever the Crystal Clear Salt Water System™ is in operation. Depending on the size of the pool, the required amount of salt differs. A table in the user manual indicates how much salt is required. The system automatically discharges a salt quantity of 7.0 g/h into the water. The salt is available from the DIY store, for example. Furthermore, the system has a compact housing, a control panel with display and simple access buttons, a 24-hour automatic operation and four self-cleaning modes (2/4/6/10-hour cycles).
