This is a wear-resistant Micro-Swiss-plated nozzle for Volcano Hotend 3 mm filament. It consists of a 360 degree brass base material and is coated with a TwinClad XT coating. TwinClad XT is a nickel composite coating designed for very low friction. It offers one of the lowest friction coefficients, better than nickel with PTFE coposition. This coating is also very hard and resistant to abrasion. If you work with abrasive carbon fiber, stainless steel, wood-filled or other metal-filled filaments, this will significantly extend the life of your nozzle.
