Description

Managed switch with 48 10 / 25G and 8 40/50 / 100G ports

As Pro AV-over-IP systems are getting bigger and bigger, a new class of switches has been launched. The SDVoE-enabled 100G and 10G Ethernet M4500 switches combine the configurability of a matrix switch with the performance and scalability of Ethernet to support hundreds of AV-over-IP endpoints, at a price much lower than comparable matrix switches. Layer 3 PIM SSM routing is available but not mandatory: These new switches offer IGMP + and significantly simplify system architectures on Layer-2 with the same known IGMP techniques across the AV over IP network.
