Description
The ammeter is the ideal instrument for measuring voltages up to 1500 V AC/DC and currents of up to 1000 A AC/DC. The current measurement at the ammeter is done inductively. The supply line is inserted into the clamp-on ammeter by the ammeter for this purpose. This has the special advantage that the current can be measured during operation. This allows the ammeter to be used, for example, for maintenance work on a photovoltaic system. Photovoltaic systems consist of many different solar cells, which are connected in series. Here, the ammeter can be used to measure the individual currents of individual rows to limit possible errors. In addition to the normal voltage and current measurement, the ammeter can also measure the inrush current. Switch-on currents are currents that are particularly high when switched on. These currents occur when motors are started up for example ventilation systems or when a stadium lighting is switched on. This measurement with the ammeter is particularly important for the dimensioning of the supply line and fuses. Frequency converters are converters that output the voltage on the primary side with a changed frequency and amplitude on the secondary side. With the ammeter and the VFD measurement function, measurements can also be made here up to frequencies from 45 Hz to 1 kHz. In addition, the ammeter has a Bluetooth 4.0 interface. An Android and iOS device can be connected to this ammeter interface. The free "Meterbox Pro" APP allows you to display the values measured by the ammeter and save them for later analysis. With the data logging function, the ammeter can store all measured values in any set interval. After a measurement, the values can be displayed graphically via the ammeter. Each individual measurement point can also be read individually at the ammeter. The storage space of the ammeter has a size of 16 groups and a total storage space size of 100,000 measured values. On the ammeter, the measured value is saved with date and time.
