The A Series binoculars are the compact, portable and rugged smaller brothers in the S Series. Binoculars labeled "WP" are waterproof. With this series, users can enjoy maximum mobility without compromising visual comfort and optical performance. The brand-new binoculars of THE Pentax Sport Optics series combine Pentax's more than 90 years of experience and the quality that has always been used with advanced technologies at unbeatable prices. For a long time now, all Pentax Sport Optics binoculars have been exclusively made of high-purity BaK4 glass with a hohem index and their "full multi-coating" is now considered as a new standard coating. Multiple coatings on all lenses The optimal light transmission is one of the most important aspects for the visual quality of binoculars. This is also the focus of the new technologies for the current Pentax Sport Optics series. For example, the "full multi-coating" of all lenses is regarded as a new standard coating. It improves the light transmission and contrast while minimizing the reflexes and excellent color fidelity. Enhanced Light Transmission Coating The new Enhanced Light Transmission Coating raises the optical level of the new Pentax binoculars to a significantly higher level. This optimized light transmission coating increases light transmission and guarantees exceptionally bright images with precise color reproduction. BaK4 glass prisms because the light beams in a prism are deflected several times at different angles, the nature of the optical glass has a decisive significance. For example, Pentax binoculars use only prisms made of high purity BaK4 glass with hohem index. Features: -multiple coatings on all lenses -waterproof (JIS 6 classification) -nitrogen filling -continuous rubber armouring for protection and secure hold -short minimum distance -internal focusing -Enhanced Light Transmission Remuneration
