Description

The SpeaKa Professional SP-DPR8K DP 1.4 repeater is used for extension of DisplayPort signals. It is suitable for use in professional environments such as conference rooms, in order to connect display devices over large distances with a signal source.

Signal extension and range
The device enables a signal transmission with a maximum overall range of up to 20 meters. For this purpose, standard DP 1.4 cables with a length of up to 10 meters can be used for the input as well as for the output.

Resolution and standards
The HDTV compatible repeater is based on the DisplayPort 1.4 standard and supports HDCP 2.3. The signal processing enables image resolutions of up to 8K at 60 Hz (4:4:4 with DSC) as well as 7680 x 4320 pixels at 30 Hz (4:4:4).

Housing and power supply
The connections and electronics are housed in a silver housing that has dimensions of 23.30 x 10.80 x 66.70 mm (W x H x L) and a weight of 20 g. The repeater is powered by an integrated USB-C® connector; a suitable USB-A-to-USB-C® cable is included.
