Tamiya presents the Volvo FH16 Globetrotter XL 750 4x2 as a new semitrailer tractor in our popular 1:14-series! The FH16 series is a flagship from Volvo Trucks, a Swedish manufacturer and was developed during a 2012 model overhaul. The top-of-the-range Globetrotter XL offers a comfortable interior, excellent aerodynamics and long distances thanks to its powerful 750-hp engine.

The model imitates the Volvo FH16 Globetrotter XL 750 4x2 semitrailer with the characteristic Globetrotter XL roof shape of the FH series.
The cab is manufactured precisely by the injection molding process, the distinctive radiator grille is designed as a photo etching part.
Parts for individual adjustments such as roof racks with additional headlights, underrun protection and side rails are included. LEDs (available separately) can also be attached.
Like the original, this model also possesses a 4x2-chassis with rear axle drive and motor and gearbox in the front area of a metal conductor frame. The 3-gear drive allows gear changes via a 4-channel remote control, sold separately.
