Description

The testo 816-1 is ideal for sound level measurements at workplaces, industrial and manufacturing facilities, as well as in public places. By its functionality testo 816-1 fulfills all requirements of a standard-conforming sound level meter according to IEC 61672-1 Class 2. By pressing a key the measurement time of Slow (1 sec.) Can be converted to Fast (125 ms). Also with one touch may be between the frequency feedback of curve A to C, and vice versa, changed. The characteristic curve A corresponds to the sound pressure sensitivity of the human ear, while curve C can evaluate low-frequency components of a sound. The integrated data storage allows to store over 30,000 readings in the device, they can be managed through the included software. In addition, the software to perform online measurements over a longer period of time allows. Highest accuracy can be reached via a calibration with the optional sound calibrator and the accessories supplied, the testo 816-1 to be recalibrated on site.
